Philippines: business industries of MSME sector

From 2020 to 2022, the leading business industry in the micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) sector in the Philippines was the wholesale and retail trade, repair of motor vehicles, and motorcycles businesses accounting for half of the total industries. Meanwhile, financial and insurance activities accounted for nearly five percent of the total industries in these periods.
