Mexico: population suffering social deprivations 2018, by type and gender
In 2018, around 55.3 percent of the female population in Mexico faced social deprivation due to a lack of access to social security, while 59.4 percent of the male population was considered vulnerable for the same reason. The second type of deprivation that Mexicans were most likely to face was food deprivation, as more than 20 percent of the population in both genders were estimated to be food deprived.
