Total losses due to fraudulent use of payment cards in Norway reached nearly 216 million Norwegian kroner in 2022. Of these, by far the highest sum was cases where the payment was initiated electronically. 14 million kroner were lost in fraud cases where the payment was initiated non-electronically.
