Freight volume on main routes of domestic flights in Japan 2013-2022
In 2022, Japanese air carriers transported around 418.3 thousand tons of air freight on domestic trunk lines. Apart from freight transportation through passenger flights, major Japanese airlines, such as All Nippon Airways and Nippon Cargo Airlines, also operate cargo-specific aircrafts on domestic routes.
