HVAC and renewable heating and cooling employment in the U.S. by select state 2022
The HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) and renewable heating and cooling industries employed 169,956 people in California. It was the state with the highest number of employees in these sectors, more than twice that of the second-ranked New York.
