Latin America: domestic & cross-border e-commerce spend 2018-2021

In 2018, cross-border online retail spending in Latin America amounted to approximately 27 billion U.S. dollars and is expected to reach up to 78 billion dollars by 2021. However, the growth in e-commerce expenditure by consumers in the region is not exclusive to cross-border purchases and is forecasted to increase by over 63 percent the domestic spending within this period.
