Number of Australians downloading podcasts in a four-week period 2019
In a 2019 survey into the podcasts downloaded in Australia over an average four week period, it was estimated that around 1.67 million Australians had downloaded an audio or video podcast within that period. Most were downloaded to their smartphones; 1.33 million Australians were estimated to have downloaded podcasts to their devices, compared to around 410 thousand who had downloaded to a computer.
