Number of chlamydia infection cases in Denmark 2022, by age and gender
The highest number of chlamydia cases in Denmark in 2022 was among women aged 15 to 24 years old, amounting to around 18.5 thousand cases. Among men in the same age group, there were over 10.8 thousand cases that year. For the three youngest age groups shown the number of cases was higher among women, but in the older age groups from 35 years and older, there were almost always more cases among men.
