Pre-purchasing information channels among Italian consumers 2020, by category
As of 2020, Italian consumers tended to look for information about a product or service before purchasing it. Around 74 percent of online shoppers purchasing consumer goods asserted that they preferred offline channels for finding information. Similarly, 73percent of the people buying medicines or supplements asserted that they looked for information offline. By contrast, if they aimed at organizing a trip, the preferred channels were online.
