Credit to non-financial sectors as share of GDP 2023

In the first quarter of 2023, the debt of nonfinancial corporations worldwide reached 97 percent of global GDP. A sharp increase in this figure in the first quarter of 2020 can be attributed to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19).
