In a survey carried out in 2019, 21 percent of respondents in Brazil said they preferred using traditional financial institutions rather than fintechs because of a lack of clarity involving fintech operations. In addition, 18 percent of respondents chose traditional financial institutions because they perceived they could establish a more trustworthy relationship.
