Italy: food delivery market breakdown 2020

Over the past few years, the food delivery sector has started experiencing a tremendous growth. Changing consumer behaviors as well as new digital market developments enabled this industry to spread all over the Italian Peninsula.
In 2020, although offline food delivery services were still predominant (amounting to 80 percent of the whole industry), online services increased significantly, reaching 20 percent.
