Average time young people spent on video games per day off Japan 2019
According to a survey conducted in Japan from January to March 2019, about 12 percent of respondents aged 10 to 29 years old played video games for more than six hours on a day off, such as during the weekend or on a holiday. The survey was conducted with a focus on gaming disorders. Gaming disorders were recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO) as a medical condition in May 2019.
