Online banking use of both men and women in Luxembourg 2004-2018, by education
Women in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg used online banking less often than their male counterparts, regardless of their education levels. In 2018, for example, there was a difference of five percentage points between high-educated males and females. Mobile banking figures for women, however, did grow significantly faster than those of men. The overall online banking penetration in the Grand Duchy reached 70 percent in 2018.
