The "Number of unit doses" (NODU) indicator is the reference indicator that allows the use of phytosanitary products to be quantified. It is calculated by attributing a "unit dose" to each active substance sold and corresponds to the total number of doses applied for all active substances. Climatic hazards are partly responsible for the variations in agricultural uses.
