AI importance in e-commerce for customer database and retargeting in France in 2019
The implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in e-commerce solutions is growing in activity in France in 2019. The source analyzed the extent to which AI measures could improve the maintenance of their customer database and client retargeting activities. The measure that was seen as most important, by 46 percent of the responding retailers, was the improvement of product recommendations and retargeting, as well as the reduction of shopping basket abandonments. The update of customer information and the basket resignation reduction was seen as paramount by 14 percent of respondents.
