Commuters who live and work 800 meters or less from a subway or train station are considered commuters who were covered by the urban rail system.

According to the official city classification standards published by the State Council of China:
Super large-sized cities refer to cities with a population of more than 10 million;
Very large-sized cities refer to cities with a population between 5 and 10 million;
Large-sized cities TypeI refer to cities with a population between 3 and 5 million.
Large-sized cities TypeII refer to cities with a population between 1 and 3 million.
