Frequency of visiting dentists Japan 2020, by age
According to a survey conducted in August 2020, close to 31 percent of respondents in Japan aged 60 to 69 years old attended dental clinics once in two to three months before February 2020, which was before the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) in the country. Over 28 percent of respondents between 20 to 29 years also visited dentists with the same frequency before the outbreak.
