Innovation Promotion Fund revenue from Start program Russia

Companies at the third stage of the "Start" program by the Innovation Promotion Fund of Russia generated the highest revenue compared to businesses at earlier stages of that program in 2019. Small individual entrepreneurs at the seed stage generated over four million Russian rubles in revenues.

* In 2008, the Start program was launched by the Innovation Promotion Fund. Through this program, the fund finances companies at the early-stage of development.

Start 1: seed stage, funding volume up to two million Russian rubles.
Start 2: funding volume up to three million Russian rubles. Companies at this stage should be able to raise funds for the implementation of the project from extrabudgetary sources.
Start 3: funding volume between four to five million Russian rubles. At this stage there're two options for co-financing: either rising funds from extrabudgetary sources or using company's own funds.
