A recent study published in 2021 analyzed the impact of the coronavirus on Canadian businesses' revenue. Compared to 2019, 31 percent of enterprises in Canada experienced a loss in revenue equal to 30 percent or more during 2020, while 29.5 percent reported a one percent to less than 30 percent decline in revenue. Among the businesses which reported an increase in revenue, those with 100 or more employees held the largest share (35.8 percent).
