Japan: internet usage for financial transactions by age group 2022

According to a survey conducted in Japan in 2022, the share of respondents who had used the internet to conduct financial transactions in the past year was the highest in the group of 30 to 39-year-olds, at 35.3 percent. Broken down by gender, the share of male respondents conducting banking, securities, or insurance transactions online was higher in most age groups.
