Planned attendance at outdoor sporting events after COVID vaccine U.S. 2020-2021
During a survey conducted in the United States, 58 percent of respondents in November 2020 stated that they would not attend a live outdoor sporting event if they had received the vaccine and if the required health measures were in place, i.e. with personal protection equipment (PPE), socially distancing measures, and restricted attendance. By May 2021, this figure decreased to 35 percent, while 51 percent of respondents stated they would attend a live sporting event with a vaccine and protective measures in place.
