According to a survey conducted in April 2021, around 16 percent of respondents aged 18 to 29 years old reported that they expected to buy groceries online much more frequently after the coronavirus pandemic subsides. That figure was much lower for respondents over 60 years of age, with only 3.7 percent expecting to use online grocery shopping much more frequently post-pandemic.
