In 2021, the average person who was 15 years and older and who lived in municipality zones had around 9.9 years of schooling in Thailand. Those who lived outside of municipal zones had almost 1.8 years less schooling. Schools in Thailand are concentrated in urban areas, especially in Bangkok and the central region.
