In a survey conducted by the Australian Institute of Family Studies between May and June 2021, among those with the lowest income (less than 500 Australian dollars per week), 32 percent were very concerned about their current financial situation and 37 percent were very concerned about their future financial situation. As the weekly income increased, the level of financial concern reduced.
