Number of new human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infections in Ghana 2010-2019
In Ghana, new human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infections stood at 0.7 per every 1,000 uninfected people in 2019. The number per the said population remained below one throughout the period under review, while following a decreasing trend. HIV remains one of the leading health threats in Ghana and Africa as a whole.
