As of February 15, 2024, a total of 1,112 casualties were reported to have been caused by mine-related incidents, handling of explosive remnants of war (ERW), and explosions of military depots in Ukraine during the Russian invasion that began on February 24, 2022. Of them, 343 were fatal. Over the period from 2014 to 2021, the number of conflict-related civilian deaths by mines, ERW handling, and explosions of military deports reached 366.
