According to a survey conducted in South Korea in March 2022, about half of the large manufacturing companies in South Korea that reported being negatively affected by the Russia-Ukraine war indicated that they had experienced a higher cost burden due to rising raw material prices. About 18 percent of respondents said that increasing exchange rate volatility and financing difficulties had negatively impacted their business.
