Italy: cyber security priorities for security managers and CISO 2022

According to a February 2022 survey of management and IT professionals working in Italian companies, ransomware and malware prevention were the most relevant theme for CISO figures and security officers, with almost six in 10 respondents reporting considering it a priority in their line of work. Apart from prevention, security awareness over Information Communication Technologies (ICT) was considered a priority for 55 percent of respondents. Cyber insurance was not one of the topics IT security professionals considered a priority, with less than one in 10 respondents reporting considering this top as among the most relevant for their role.
