Consumer willingness to pay extra for sustainable products China 2021, by income
According to a 2021 survey in China, 51 percent of the consumers earning 30,000 yuan and above indicated that they are willing to pay extra for sustainable features in a product. On the other hand, 36 percent of the respondents earning below 8,000 yuan indicated that they are willing to pay extra for sustainable products.
