Brazil WhatsApp users by political orientation 2023

According to a 2023 survey, around 37 percent of WhatsApp users in Brazil identified as leaning toward a Right-wing political position. With 11 fewer percentage points, respondents leaning Left-wing represented one-quarter of the survey's interviewees, while those on Center and who rather not answer accounted for smaller shares. Additionally, around eight percent of Brazilians used the instant-messaging app as their main source for political information.
