Kenya: demand for alcohol by generation group 2021-2022

A survey conducted between 2021 and 2022 in urban areas in Kenya revealed that wine and beer were in the highest demand among millennials and baby boomers in the country. This was in comparison to other generational groups. According to the retail demand index, values close to 0.25 signify a high demand, while an index around minus 0.25 refers to low demand.
