Brand return types by social media in South Africa 2019-2023
As of 2023, most South African companies reported that social media contributed to their brand returns by boosting their brand awareness among the audience, as 91 percent of them confirmed. Customer insights and brand loyalty were other major fields where social media contributed to brand returns, as 48 and 42 percent confirmed, respectively. Compared to 2019, brand returns through social media improved greatly.
