Distribution of athletes engaging in traditional karate in Israel 2020/21, by age
In the sports season 2020/21, the largest group of athletes actively engaging in traditional karate in Israel was aged 12-17. This age group constituted 52.5 percent of traditional karate practitioners in the country. People aged 18-24 years accounted for the second-largest group of athletes, making up 25.4 percent. In contrast, the share of traditional karate professionals aged 61 and older stood at 0.9 percent.
