Lack of budget as a marketing problem in companies in South Africa 2018-2022
As of 2022, 36 percent of companies in South Africa confirmed lack of budget to be a significant barrier facing online marketers by preventing them from getting more value out of social media. This was a higher rate than the previous years and similar to 2018. Moreover, 40 percent believed this obstacle to have posed some or quite some barriers (20 percent each). All in all, the great majority of companies confirmed lack of budget to be a considerable barrier in the face of online marketers.
