Italy: mobile market share by provider 2018-2022

By the end of 2022, the leading mobile operators in Italy by number of active human SIM cards - as opposed to machine-to-machine SIM cards - were TIM, Vodafone, and Wind Tre, each holding over 22 percent of the market. Their year-on-year change showed a negative trend, however, while the new entrant Iliad Group increased its market share to over 12 percent three years after its launch in 2018.
