Price management: consumer skepticism towards original shelf prices 2022
According to a study fielded in late 2022, nearly a third (31 percent) of consumers in Brazil said that they did not trust the original shelf price of a product. In comparison, 16 percent of consumers in Mexico expressed their skepticism towards the original price e.g. without promotion.
