Deliveries of crude oil tankers worldwide by tanker type

In 2021, 73 crude oil tankers were delivered worldwide. Nearly half of these—35 units—were very large crude carriers. Suezmax and Aframax vessels accounted for 21 and 17 new crude oil tanker deliveries globally, respectively.
