Value of food imports in Nigeria 2021, by category
In 2021, some nine billion U.S. dollars of food (including fish) were imported into Nigeria. The bulk of the imports were cereals and cereal preparations, amounting to around three billion U.S. dollars. This was followed by fats and oils (including butter) at roughly 2.47 billion U.S. dollars.
