Rakuten Insight in Taiwan in 2023 on social commerce, around 63 percent of female respondents who purchased things on social media answered that they bought clothes. With around 49 percent of female respondents and 45 percent of male respondents, food, snacks and non-alcoholic drinks were the second most common type of products people bought via social media.
