Value of cost, insurance and freight (CIF) imports in Romania 2022, by country
The cost, insurance, and freight (CIF) price is the price of a good delivered at the frontier of the importing country or the price of a service delivered to a resident before the payment of any import duties or other taxes on imports or trade and transport margins within the country. Romania imported goods with CIF value of 93.87 billion euros in 2022. Germany was the leading import partner country, importing 16.63 billion euros. Italy was the second country where Romania exported the most in 2022, with a total exports value slightly lower than half of Germany's.
