According to a survey conducted in March 2023, the majority of Vietnamese consumers said that the time they spent on SMS messages had either greatly or somewhat increased, as stated by around 60 percent of respondents. Meanwhile, around two percent of the surveyed consumers responded they had extremely reduced their SMS texting time.
