China: largest IPOs in Greater China by issue volume 2022

In 2022, the initial public offering (IPO) of China Mobile at the Shanghai Stock Exchange was the largest in the Greater China region, with a total of 7.5 billion U.S. dollars in raised funds. The slow post-covid recovery of the Chinese economy also impacts the financial industry. Not only had the number of IPOs decreased, the prominence of the companies that decided to raise funds on the capital market had changed as well.
