England: users of e-scooters in trial schemes by age, 2021

In 2021, according to the national evaluation of e-scooter trials in England, e-scooter rentals were more popular in the age group between 25 and 34 years than in any other age group. E-scooter rental users in this age group made up 35 percent of all e-scooter users, which was 33 percent more than the younger age group of 16 to 24 years, and 68 percent more than the older age group of 35 to 44 years. As of October 2022, e-scooter sharing trials were being carried out in England in 31 locations in the country.
