Electronics exports from Caucasus and Central Asia to Russia 2020-2022, by country
After Western countries imposed restrictions on exports of electronic equipment and machinery to Russia in response to the war in Ukraine in 2022, Russia increasingly purchased these product categories from the countries in Caucasus and Central Asia. Armenia's exports of electronic equipment to Russia increased by 38 times between 2021 and 2022. Among the exporters in the regions, Turkey exported the largest value of electronic equipment to Russia, at over 559 million U.S. dollars in 2022.
