Consumer expenditure on coffee Indonesia 2023 by economic status
In 2023, a survey on coffee consumption trends conducted in Indonesia revealed that around 34 percent of respondents from a lower socioeconomic status spent around six to ten thousand Indonesian rupiah for one coffee purchase. The same survey also found that most of Indonesians go to "warung" or minimarkets or supermarkets to get coffee in the form of powdered sachets.
