India: electric vehicle share of automotive manufacturers' sales 2022

In 2022, MG had the highest electric vehicle (EV) sales share, as EVs represented 9.4 percent of its Indian sales. Tata Motors achieved the second position with a 6 percent share. The "Others" category encompasses newcomers like BYD, PMV Electric, and Pravaig, collectively recording 2.1 percent of their sales in India as electric vehicles.
