Number of significant earthquakes Greece 2023

Starting from 1950, the years with the highest number of significant earthquakes in Greece were 1965 and 1981. In each of these years, four earthquakes that had either economic damage measured at one million U.S. dollars or more, 10 or more fatalities, a magnitude of 7.5 or higher, the Mercalli Intensity X or greater, or generated a tsunami.
