Number of at-risk youth in youth development units in Israel 2022 by age
In the school year 2021/2022, 7,049 at-risk youths aged 16–17 years were enrolled in one of the state youth development units in Israel. The majority of enrolled youngsters at risk belonged to this age group. This was closely followed by those between the ages of 18 and 19, who made up almost 6,300. In that year, a total of approximately 350 teenagers between the ages of 12 and 13 were enrolled in the programs.
