French opinion on politicians reactions to the death of Nahel Merzouk 2023

According to a survey conducted in June 2023, two days after the fatal shooting of Nahel Merzouk by a police officer in Nanterre, France, 39 percent of French respondents were satisfied with Marine Le Pen's reactions and attitude following the death of the 17-year-old. In comparison, 33 percent of those surveyed declared themselves satisfied with Emmanuel Macron's stance. On the other hand, only 20 percent of the respondents who were happy with Jean-Luc Mélenchon's position, and 15 percent by Marine Tondelier.
